Finish

The sheets of aluminium are available in both finished and unfinished forms. An unfinished sheet means there has been no surface treatment used in the post-manufacturing process. On the other hand, a sheet that has been given surface finish treatment looks completely smooth and shiny. A natural finish obtained without applying any paint, chemical, metal or other material may not last long due to oxidation process. When an aluminium item is painted, plated or anodised, its life increases manifold and its properties are retained longer.
